JOB PURPOSE: Performs general cleaning and maintenance of Jackson buildings and grounds, and assists maintenance techs with general repairs and project work.
JOB RELATED STATISTICS:
JOB DUTIES:
: Cleans and maintains outside grounds. Other custodial duties as assigned.
: Assists maintenance techs in the completion of projects.
: Assists maintenance techs in the repair of facilities and equipment as needed.
: Follows all safety policies and work practices.
: Communicate effectively with personnel, as the job requires, in a professional manner that facilitates teamwork.
: Completes all work order documentation in accordance with department processes.
: Perform other duties as assigned.
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:
: Team player who can work effectively in a team environment.
: Basic understanding of mechanical principles.
: Basic understanding of the use of hand tools.
: Ability to obtain a forklift license and to use a man:lift.
Experience and Education
Prefer 2 year degree in Mechatronics, Maintenance or related field
Prefer previous Maintenance Experience
PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES:
: Frequent bending, lifting, and carrying
: Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
: Ability to climb stairs and ladders regularly
: Works in various environments including cold, heat, and work at heights (in a lift or on the roof, for example)
