AGCO is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Manager to join our Engineering team in Jackson, MN. The Manufacturing Engineer Manager will play a key part in planning, managing, directing, and developing all aspects of the manufacturing engineering department to best support production and continuous improvement processes. Additionally, the Manufacturing Engineer Manager will be responsible for not only new product introductions, but also multiple model years to improve upon. The Manufacturing Engineer Manager will also have an understanding of where all the projects stand, involved in pilots, test products, ECO (Engineering Change Orders) processed in a timely manner, software enhancements to people on the assembly floor, researching new tools to integrate into the factory floor, as well as testing and implementing new equipment.

Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer Manager:
: Delegate appropriate authority and responsibilities to subordinates in the areas of production support, process engineering, and pilot build
: Maintain close surveillance over operations through reports, staff meetings, observation, and personal contact to assure conformance to schedule, project deadlines, budgetary conformance, and utilization of personnel
: Coordinate and direct major projects (i.e., expansion of facilities, acquisition of capital equipment, changes in the floorplan to the best economic advantage, as well as product and process change improvements)
: Assure that the department is technically and organizationally capable of supporting all required manufacturing activities by appropriate staffing and the continuous improvements of all existing departmental personnel
: Develop and manage the budget for the manufacturing engineering and facilities department
: Administer and support all company policies fairly to all subordinates
: Focus and develop the department personnel to continuously improve every aspect of their personal performance and the performance of the entire production facility
Required Qualifications of the Manufacturing Engineer Manager:
: 3:10 years of preparatory supervisor experience, including having 3:10 direct reports
: 3:10 years of manufacturing engineering experience
: 2+ years of proficiency in Microsoft Office
: 2+ years of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with spreadsheets, VLOOKUPS, IF statements, and pivot tables
: 2+ years of proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including creating presentations and creating templates from scratch
: 2+ year of proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
: 3:5 years of project management experience, including managing a schedule of a project that is within the manufacturing engineering realm
Education of the Manufacturing Engineer Manager:
: Bachelors degree required, preferably in an engineering science field
