AGCO is currently seeking a Supplier Cost Analyst to join our Purchasing team in Jackson, MN. The Supplier Cost Analyst will report to the Manager of Supplier Cost Analysis and will deliver strategic, tactical, and operational support for the Supplier Cost Analysis organization. The Supplier Cost Analyst will be responsible for providing support to cross functional teams during the sourcing and product development process, specifically by evaluating parts and estimating their cost based off a variety of factors including materials utilized, required tooling, and manufacturing process times. Additionally, the Supplier Cost Analyst will be tasked with managing global projects, prioritizing strategic and tactical initiatives as well as driving cost savings and delivering sound metrics.
Note: Relocation assistance is available to the Jackson, MN area for this position. Additionally, up to 30 travel is required.
Responsibilities of the Supplier Cost Analyst:
: Drive global purchase strategy and create value for internal and external customers
: Create and realize cost saving opportunities by implementing new manufacturing concept ideas and conducting detailed manufacturing process simulations
: Prioritize strategic and tactical initiatives to embed robust procurement processes
: Define, implement, and maintain standardized cost analysis systems, tools, and instruments for global purchasing
: Provide active purchasing negotiation support to global commodity teams
: Support AGCOs School of Purchasing process (cost calculation/negotiation/value analysis)
Required Qualifications of the Supplier Cost Analyst:
: 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment as a manufacturing engineer, industrial engineer, process engineer, or a related role requiring a in depth knowledge of manufacturing processes
Preferred Qualifications of the Supplier Cost Analyst:
: 1+ year of cost analysis experience
: Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
: Experience utilizing Teamcenter
Education of the Supplier Cost Analyst:
: Bachelors degree, preferably in Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering
